After reading 2 3 articles I figure out the big problem of the utilities with solar energy.
Step 1 When a home owner install a solar pannel, result utilities lose one client. Step 2 Less cash flow for utilities means higher price for the remaining clients. Step 3 Higher price means more people will desire and install solar pannels. Then go back to step 1. one link: http://www.economist.com/news/briefing/21587782-europes-electricity-providers-face-existential-threat-how-lose-half-trillion-euros Conclussion I start to understand the fervore of lobiest in the utilities purses. To bad the history will repeat herself remmber model T and the horse and buggy.

This article show an important true solar installation can help homeowners to reduce their bills. http://www.solardaily.com/reports/Homeowners_Say_Solar_Energy_Better_Investment_than_Home_Renovation_or_Car_Purchase_999.html
Solar is one of the few options where homeowners can make a dent in their electrical bill. In this article the installations of solar panels is compared with home renovations and with buying a car. The solar wins by far being the only one that help the budget of the family. I want to add that the solar investment is very low maintenance being made by nonmoving parts. I saw an excellent article in CNN money even if we has some sound bankruptcies in the solar energy, the industry is roaring back to life almost 3.3 GW/h of energy created this is almost 500000 homes powered by solar panels in US. I think this is great news. I saw the article focused almost exclusively about house power that is much cheaper than gasoline for cars. I think if the electrical cars will take of the savings will be way more profound and faster. The gasoline energy is way more expensive than the home power.
